We are thrilled Gov. Holcomb has told us we can get back to work. We want to be extremely mindful of how we can do that while ensuring our safety and yours. We are excited to share that we are adopting what we are calling “Green Door Salon Best Practices”. Our Best Practices are going to include the use of one time use biodegradable disposable capes for each client. Our Best practices will also include the use of a custom medical UV light closet to disinfect our aprons. Stylists will utilize disposable gloves and both stylists and clients alike will wear masks to further ensure the safety of everyone. We will also continue to exceed state board minimums in sanitation and disinfection with the use of Barbacide, Ship Shape, and hospital grade disinfectants between each client. Our Best Practices are made more effective through the use of non-porous materials in our remodel as well as a newly installed UV light/HEPA air filtration system. The expense of the disposable capes and aprons are being shared equally by the stylists and clients, this will mean a $4.00 charge per appointment as long as these Best Practices are needed. It is our hope that we will soon be back to business as usual and able to drop the surcharge. We want Green Door to continue to be the safest and healthiest option for your salon needs!
